you to our wellness philosophy, they will look after

hygiene team. |
Angie Trost and Lorna Whitfield are our two dental
hygienists. Emphasis today is more on preventive dentistry
rather than repair and nothing enhances that more than
a lasting relationship with your dental hygienist. Re-care
appointments are individualized to cater to everyone's
varying needs and circumstances. Recent technological
advances in periodontal (gum) care are embraced by our
team, especially in light of the many connections now
documented between a person's periodontal health and
their overall health. |

Dr. Ken Southward and Betty Costello are our dental
team members. They are responsible for the dental treatment
aspects of your chosen plan. Ken graduated from the
University of Toronto Dental Faculty in 1971 and has
always practiced in Beamsville. He takes considerable
continuing education courses to keep up with the rigors
of a leading edge, wellness oriented practice. Betty
joined Ken in 1975 so they have refined their dental
skills and care over many years.

Our Location We are located
in the Beamsville Health Centre at 5026 King Street in Beamsville.
It is the large white building about 100 yards west of the
Ontario Street stop light on the south side of King street
(which is also Highway #81 or the old Highway #8).
If you are coming from the St. Catharines or Hamilton areas,
exit off the QEW at Ontario Street, Beamsville. Take Ontario
Street south until you reach the "T" intersection
at King Street. Turn right and we are on the left hand side.

Regular hours:
October thru May:
Monday 8.00am -7.30pm
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 8.00am -1.00pm and 2.00-4.30pm
Summer hours June thru September:
Monday 8.00am-7.30pm
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 7.30am-1.30pm
We are closed on Fridays and weekends.
Need help after hours?
In the event that you have a weekend or evening dental emergency,
try calling Ken at home, 905-563-8387. If you can not reach
him, then call West Lincoln Memorial Hospital, Emergency Department,
905-945-2253, ext 300. They will put you in touch with the
dentist on call.
Payment Options
We appreciate
payment when services are rendered. We accept cash, cheque,
Visa or Mastercard and debit cards. Other payment options
are available with prior arrangements, particularly involving
dental insurance and long term treatments (eg. orthodontics).
We will submit your dental insurance forms electronically
in most cases and complete your forms in other cases. We accept
payment from our clients and not directly from the dental
insurance company.
Visitors to Canada We provide
emergency services free of charge for any of your
family and friends visiting Canada.
Appointment changes
We would appreciate 24 hours notice if you are unable to
keep your appointment. This would allow other clients the
opportunity to benefit from your time.Pre-booking is a privilege
we can offer to you for dental hygiene visits. This ensures
that appointments are regular and not overlooked, or to accommodate
a preferred time. These appointment times are not confirmed
till 2 weeks ahead of the planned date, so feel free to make
them when you are finished your hygiene visit.
Referrals We welcome new clients.
