How observant are you?

Sometimes we do not see everything that we should see. Usually this is because we are not trained to see certain things or we may not even be looking for them. When these problems or variations from normal are pointed out, they become obvious. When we do an oral examination, we are checking for many things like oral cancer, periodontal (gum) disease, dental caries (cavities) and bite irregularites to name a few. We may even use x-rays and our phase microscope to help us see better.
